About

Meet Katie Milton

Nice to meet you! I am a dedicated speech pathologist with a strong passion for helping individuals express themselves with confidence.

Throughout my career, I have worked in various settings, including hospitals, aged care facilities, schools, and even within the justice system. This invaluable experience allowed me to work with diverse populations.

In recent years, I have experienced a strong passion and drive to hone my skills to assist individuals in discovering, regaining, or rejuvenating their voices. Whether it is supporting individuals in recovering from vocal injury, expressing their gender identity, developing their professional style, or exploring creative forms of expression, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to communicate confidently and authentically.

To ensure that I provide the highest quality of care, I am dedicated to ongoing professional development. I am a qualified Vocal Health First Aider and hold certifications in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) and PROMPT. I stay up to date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in fluency and voice disorder management, as well as gender affirming care. I am a Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia.

I am genuinely passionate about the work I do. I love witnessing the growth of my clients as they gain confidence in communication skills. I look forward to supporting you on your journey!

I would like to acknowledge the Whadjuk Noongar people as the First People’s of Boorlaloo (Perth), where I live and work. I consider their spiritual connection to land, culture and language. I pay my respects to their Elders, past and present.
